The Sacred Heart Vinnies took the opportunity to show everyone just what an awesome group they are when they put together these two fabulous posters about the various things the have been up to throughout the year. From holding mufti days and having sale tables after Mass to raise money for Christchurch to crafting gorgeos cards for the Christchuch Earthquake victims these Vinnies know just what it means to put their faith in to action! The Vinnies have also used their skills to sing to the elderly and sell milos throughout Winter to support the St. Vincent de Paul Society in the Reefton area. Way to go Sacred Heart Vinnies - you rock!

Red and Black Day..

On the 17th March the Sacred heart Vinnies hosted a red and black day to raised money for the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal. This was lots of fun with students coming to school dressed in all sorts of creative costumes - cowboys, princesses and even a few 'crusaders'. The sum of $85.20 was raised through their efforts.

The Sacred Heart Vinnies have also been making cards for the people in Christchurch and this weekend will be holding a stall after their school Mass to further fundraise. Their stall will be selling books, toys, baking and anything else that will be donated. Good luck Vinnies - I hope your stall goes well!

Mufti Day!

On Friday 10 June, the Sacred Heart Vinnies held a mufti day to raise funds for people in need in the community. Says, Sacred Heart Vinnies Secretary, Ellie McDonald, "We had some very interesting costumes, including
Poison Ivy, Pony Rider, Pyjama girl and Geek". By all accounts, the day was a whole heap of fun!

Sacred Heart Vinnies sell-abrate their success!

On Sunday 10 April, the Sacred Heart Vinnies held a stall after their school mass. The stall which sold a lot of different things including flannels, cakes, shoes and even plastic farms, raised an unofficial total of $312.30! Most of the money will go to the Vinnies fund for the year with other money going to undetermined places. This activity was supported by a good turnout of Vinnies being there to run operations.
